Matt is the former vocalist and guitarist with Mother Earth and recently known for his place in Paul Weller's band and deputising for Noel Gallagher in Oasis when he left their european tour in a hail of publicity.

His debut solo album "The Villager" was very well received and described by The Guardian as "a superlative album of tender, touching beauty. English folk with a westcoast sensibility akin to Richard Thompson".
He now has a new album out called "You Are The Healer" which The Guardian has again called "wonderful".
