EILEEN ROSE

Of her debut album, Shine Like It Does, Time Out said: "...familiarity only deepens it's sheer and sure emotive heft".

The Irish-Italian-American writes beautifully articulate lyrics that have many emotionally insightful and tender touches, and nods to her influences as Tom Waits, Patti Smith, Creedance, Neil Diamond and Paul Simon.
She recorded the album in Wales with Jerry Boys who began tape op'ing for the Beatles and the Stones and more recently recorded the Buena Vista Social Club album with Ry Cooder.
The album is released on the ultra cool Rough Trade label and her band features members of Alabama 3.
Time Out also wrote "Songcraft of the highest order. Stuff that lingers long and nestles deep. Few debut albums arrive so fully formed, so laden with wisdom, pain, magic and loss"
