ALL ABOUT EVE (acoustic)

The band were formed by Coventry born Julianne Regan, who was quickly renowned for her meandering dreamily-romantic vocals and gothic-tinged and melodic folk-rock charms. The bands name was taken from the Bette Davis film of 1950.
Their debut album titled 'All About Eve' contained the hit singles 'Martha's Harbour' and 'What Kind Of Fool', plus a heart stopping version of 'She Moves Through The Fair'.
The album went top 10 as did their second album 'Scarlet And Other Stories'.

In an era when they were parallel to other passionately dark bands such as The Cure and The Mission, they recorded no less than ten top 40 hits. Their current 'acoustic' concerts showcase unplugged songs from thier four albums, along with re-workings of electric songs and a few surprise covers.

Those lucky enough to see them as special guests of 'Fairport Convention' in February, will already testify as to the quality of their shows.

Guest support for the show is JACK RUBINACCI.
